Desktop Engineer

Job Responsibilities
  • Requires to perform basic IT tasking such as reformatting of computers and installation of drivers
  • Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting (Desktop/UPS)
  • Ability to install and terminate network cabling and voice lines.
  • Assist senior IT engineer to customer site for other installation work
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades of IT infrastructure.
  • Required to be on rotational shift standby for maintenance support calls
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support
  • Applicant must have interest in pursuing networking/systems as a career. 
  • Applicant will be expected to move on to either network or system engineer within 2 years.  
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a relevant IT Diploma qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of IT support experience
  • Willing to take on a 1 year contract

Network Engineer

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day network operation for the Network Infrastructure and Network Equipment at the customer premises, including performance monitoring, bandwidth monitoring.
  • Perform timely and accurate update to the Documentation of the Network Infrastructure inclusive of network diagrams, equipment configuration, architecture and designs
  • Work with customer’s vendor to perform testing and preventative maintenance according to the schedule provided by the customer for the Network Equipment
  • Provide reports according to the schedule and the agreed format by customer’s network management team on all updates to the Cable Plant and Network Equipment.
  • Perform cabling asset management and maintain network physical and logical drawings especially during cabling-related IMAC.
  • Perform Problem resolution, escalation and/or closure of incident including problem analysis and identification of the source of the problem
  • Perform Network IMAC request including updating documentation
  • Provide problem status to the Service Desk and/or update into the ticketing tool according to the Procedures Manual
  • Respond to all fault calls inclusive of emails and other forms of communications for network related ssues and problems reported
  • Attend meetings, to organise and conduct as required by management and/or customer for common resolution of repeated/prolonged problems
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess a relevant IT Diploma qualification
  • CCNA / CCNP certification is preferred
  • 2-3 years of network working experience
  • Willing to take on shift work
  • Able to start work immediately an added advantage
